Harvesting The San Demetrio Farms are at the heart of Specchiasol’s production processes. Located in the town of Specchia in the province of Lecce, San Demetrio covers a surface area of 100 hectares where thirty different species of medicinal herbs are cultivated in clayey soil that is considered particularly adapt for these types of crops. There is also the botanical laboratory which selects and experiments on medicinal herbs before they are cultivated in order to test their potential and maximize their quality.
